Validation fails during installation

Hi, I downloaded IQonn Lite and signed up for a user account successfully. However, when I enter the username and password into the Account Activation screen during installation, it just keeps saying "Failed to send the request to the server.". My internet connection is definately working OK, the 'sign up' button successfully opens IE and takes me to the registration page, it's just the validation button that doesn't work.

My internet access is via a corporate HTTP proxy, could it be that the validate button is ignoring the IE proxy setting and trying to open a direct connection to a server?

Thank you for your intrest in IQonn.

You conclusion is correct, the validation button ignores the IE proxy settings. To avoid these situations in the future, the next version of IQonn lite will have the validation function on optional instead of necessary.

Hi Tubaman,

Sorry for the long waiting, a new version of IQonn lite is now avialable.
Your issue should not occur any more in the new version and you should be able to install it without difficulties.
Also we added a large number of new devices to this version of IQonn lite.
