roaming prices wanted

roaming prices wanted

Postby Edsard on Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:52 am

http://my.iqonn.com has a roaming and cost calculation feature.
We want to have prices for roaming and data from the various operators.
Are there people that have this and want to share this? Especially E-Plus, T-Mobile, O2 and Vodafone
This way people can see the different tariffs and costs in http://my.iqonn.com?

Please Let me know if anyone is interested :D

ok, this made me investigating. For all e-plus Base customers i found this:

Code: Select all
Tarifzonen                                            Preis pro angefangene 50 KB
EU-Länder                                                    0,59
Rest Europa, Nordamerika                                     0,79
restliche Welt                                               0,99

This is to my feeling terrible expensive.

Translation needed?

looking at vodafone this looks like this:

Code: Select all

EU                                              0,40 per 10kb + 0,09 per hour
world                                          price of local provider+25%     + 0,10 per hour

even more intransparent
best here: guess and expect the worst

T-Mobile has some information, except it's not very transparent:

And they have a lot of subscriptions ...

@mong

unfortunatly these are not the roaming prices. These is the standard german pricing. These T-* Companies are so terrible intransparent... this is just one sample

I think I finally found it:

http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/im_aus ... rs-mms.pdf

and

http://www.t-mobile.de/downloads/im_aus ... fzonen.pdf

:)

Except the strange thing is that both PDF's contain different prices :?:

Weltweit: 0,39 - 0,49 - 0,79
International Roaming: 0,29 - 0,50 - 0,81

Or is one for subscriptions and the other for prepaid ? ...

some news from E-Plus "base"

on my yesterdays horrifying mobile bill ( ) i found some advertisement:

"Reisevorteil"

Internet Connection from any EU Country:

0,10€ per 10kb all other fees included.

You have to enable this option by calling 22002 from that simcard... to option is AFIK free of charge. I enabled it. let's see what happens next time when i am abroad.

btw: voice rates drop to 0,29 per minute (incoming & outgoing call) and 0,75 extra per outgoing call (fom 0,59 per minute), so you get quiet some savings when your calls take longer than 2,5 minutes
